How old must I be to join?
You must be at least 12 years old, have started Year 8 at school and be under 17 to join the Air Cadets. Once you are in you should be able to stay a cadet until you are 20. Staff opportunities then become open.
Can I come along to try it before I join?
No, I'm afraid not. One evening could not show you what the Air Cadets is like as there are so many different opportunities. Our recruit intakes start with a presentation evening where we will explain what is on offer and what your experience could be like.
